About Us

Rappers Without Borders is a Non-Profit Organisation founded in 2014 with an aim to guide and prepare the youth of South Africa for life and its possibilities, equip them for meaningful and successful living in a rapidly changing and transforming society. The youth will be encouraged to acquire and practice life skills that will assist them to respond to challenges and to play an active and responsible role in the economy and in society. They will learn to exercise their constitutional rights and responsibilities, to respect the rights of others and to show tolerance for cultural and religious diversity in order to build a democratic society.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

To empower the youth through life orientation, arts and culture with the development of skills, knowledge, values and attitudes that will enable the youth to make informed decisions and take appropriate actions regarding: Health Promotion, Social Development, Personal Development, Physical Development, Orientation to world of work. The youth will develop the skills to relate positively and make a contribution to family, community and society, while practicing the values embedded in the Constitution.

VISION

To establish an organisation that will create opportunities for economic, social and community development, with a focus in arts, culture and life orientation that will promote the development of self-in-society and encourages balanced and confident youth that will contribute to a just and democratic society.

MISSION

To promote personal, community and environmental wellbeing; foster self-awareness, social competency and healthy living among the youth; Encourage our youth to meet challenges using new knowledge, values, skills and strategies; assist the youth to exercise their rights and fulfil their civic and social responsibilities; And prepare them for success, by encouraging informed decision-making as to career and education choices.
